What we keep, and why.

Your email address and a password, to run your account. What you write down in the product: your numbers, your log, your decisions, your applications, contacts and companies, your notes on each page. Your quiz answers and result, if you take the quiz and choose to have the result emailed to you. Your email address, if you reserve a place before we open.

We do not collect your name unless you type it somewhere, and we never see your card: Stripe takes payment on its own page and tells us only whether your subscription is active.

To show your records back to you and build the case, the tracker and the calendar from them. To bill the subscription. To send you the emails you asked for: your quiz result, your reservation confirmation, account emails such as a password reset, and, once you subscribe, the onboarding emails, which you can stop with one click at the foot of any of them.

We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use what you write to train anything.

Supabase stores your account and your records. Stripe handles payment. Resend sends our email. Vercel serves the site. Each holds only what it needs for its job, under its own agreement with us.

The only cookies we set are the ones that keep you signed in. There is no advertising or tracking cookie on the product. If we add measurement to the marketing pages, this section will say so first.

You can export everything you have written, in three formats, from your settings. You can delete your account from the same page, which removes your records outright rather than hiding them. You can unsubscribe from any marketing email with the link in it. To ask what we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, email hello@taketheelevator.com.

If you are in California, you have the right to know what we collect, to have it deleted, and not to be discriminated against for asking. We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of.

For as long as you have an account. If you delete it, your records go with it. Quiz answers and reservations are kept until you ask us to remove them or we no longer need them. Billing records are kept as long as tax law requires.
